After 10 years of contributing photos to iStock we finally made it to 45% royalties. We have definitely had our challenges over the last decade. Even though we have experienced 10 consecutive years of royalty growth the period between 2012 and 2015 was single digit percentage growth.
Now with our new production team in Toronto and post production team in Peterborough we are set up to continue our trend of double digit royalty growth. We don’t know what will happen in the next several years in the stock photo industry. We do know that we want to be as big a part of it as we can.
